The Roots of Stone Lotus come from my time being raised in Hawaii, peace is more than a feeling—it is a rhythm dictated by the land itself. The islands instill a deep appreciation for stillness, found in the cool shade of a tropical garden or the silent strength of volcanic rock. In that environment, tranquility is a common grace, seamlessly integrated into the fabric of everyday life. Upon relocating to Atlanta, I was captivated by the city’s spirited energy and its leafy canopy. Yet, as I sought to curate my own outdoor sanctuary, I encountered an unexpected obstacle. High-quality stone and concrete Buddha statues were exclusively marketed as luxury goods, carrying prohibitive price tags that made serene decor feel out of reach. Tranquility had been rebranded as an elite privilege. Stone Lotus was born to dismantle that barrier. Our focus is to harmonize the quietude of the islands with the vibrant soul of the South. By locally designing and casting every concrete Buddha right here in Atlanta, we bypass the heavy import costs and retail surcharges that normally inflate prices. The result is enduring, weather-defying craftsmanship that offers spiritual grounding without the premium cost. We are committed to the idea that building a meditative retreat in your backyard should be accessible to all—because inner peace is a necessity, not a luxury.
